Howdy All,
Forum newbie here.
I have been reading some of your forum topics over the past month or so and am very impressed with how generous you guys are with your assistance...must be something about old BMXers hey. I was lucky enough to be riding around on a beat up old Taipan in the late 70's and early 80's and have just got back into BMX to get my son involved in a good healthy sport. We bought our first bike (81 Mongoose) a couple of months ago, among a horendous (according to my beautiful wife) amount of bikes later we have secured a couple of 82 Team Hotfoots and I intend to take mine back to it's former glory, but I would like to try to pimp his bike with things like a pearly powdercoat from Roberto (he certainly appears to be the man in Brissie for powder) and some era correct superlight gear, has anyone done this and if so how did it turn out. One last thing could someone point me in the right direction to view an image of a SR Alloy Chrome Molly Stem that came original on the 82 Team HF.
Thanks guys and will try to keep the waffle shorter with future posts. :good_mini:

Great pick - Looks like I've got quite a bit of gear to collect - but this is exactly what I want mine to look like. Will send you a pick of the finished item.........one day
