OZBMX Trading Rules

Sellers:
• In the trading section you must select a prefix, ‘Wanted To Buy’, ‘Trade’, ‘For Sale’, ‘eBay Auctions’ or ‘Pay it Forward’.
• You must be honest, truthful, factual and objective when describing and taking photos of your items for sale. Failure to do so could result in a warning and subsequent banning.
• If you are selling something you must post a picture of your item.
• You must post a price in Australian dollars – any for sale items without a price or in some other currency are subject to deletion.
• Once your item has sold you can report it to admin by clicking the report button as seen on every post and they will change the prefix to 'complete'
• No presales, no group buys, no expression of interest, no jokes, no silly business, no cockblocking or trash talk this type of behavior will result in a warning and subsequent banning if repeated.
• No raffles, fundraisers or anything of that nature are permitted – if you would like to help raise money for a cause or the community, please send advertise@ozbmx.com.au an email and we will get back to you.
• You may relist your items and reduce your prices providing your initial advertisement has been marked ‘completed’
• Copyrighted Items that are made without the copyright holder’s permission are subject to deletion.
• Leave truthful and objective feedback once your transaction is complete.
• All Ebay auctions are allowed in the for sale section
• This is a BMX website BMX related items only for sale if you want to sell non BMX stuff have a garage sale or use ebay.
• No requesting money as a 'gift' as this leaves the buyer with no paypal protection.
• Commercial sales are allowed in the trading forums; Your posts will be subject to deletion if you are spamming, Send us an email to advertise@ozbmx.com.au if you would like to support the community and advertise with us.
• When a buyer dibs' a sellers item in the trading section you have an obligation to sell the item at the advertised price and to the first member who places dibs in the open forum. dibs via PM does not cut it here on ozbmx, your sales need to be transparent to avoid callouts and confusion.

Buyers:
• If you want to buy an item you must place dibs.
• Once you have placed dibs you own the item, all payments need to be made shortly after you have called dibs otherwise you could be given negative feedback and could be subject to banning for multiple offences.
• When a buyer dibs' your item this must be done in the open forum. dibs via PM does not cut it here on ozbmx, your sales need to be transparent to avoid callouts and confusion.
• You should be aware of the seller’s feedback, if they have zero or are a new member buying from these members is not recommended and is at your own risk.
• Ozbmx will not be liable for any sales activities that occur on the forum; we do try our best to provide a safe trading environment but when trading please use your common sense.
• Communication is key, you must make sure that you keep track of your transaction
• Leave truthful and objective feedback once your transaction is complete.

Notes:
• You can now leave feedback for each transaction by using the feedback tab at the top of every page.
• From now on you will be able to view the transaction for 90 days.
• 50 post rule no longer exists, anyone can post stuff in the trading section - you should be cautious of anyone with zero feedback.
• We have restricted editing of your posts after 10 minutes to help buyers keep track of their purchases.
