It lets mods and admins know who's been naughty or nice
Only you should be able to see your status
other members can't see your level
(as far as I understand)
EG: if you have been given a warning you will have a red mark in your status bar .
You CANNOT receive it without a PM
It can't be issued without notice - a change requires a pm or even an email to the member to take effect
It can only be altered by Mods and Admins
