i plan on going to the swap meet and to Eccles and Pia's on SUNDAY, i will leave the swap meet early and go open up the shop for the peep's that are coming over this side of town to Eccles yard so if anyone wants to drop by between the two...

This idea has been toyed with over the past decade with several 'larger' collectors, and it would work if you simply ran a bikeshop with an oldschool section....afterall, you gotta change flat tyres and service regular bikes to get enough income to keep the shop running.
I'm concerned that inflated prices to cover the shop lease will kill the shop before we know it.

All i'm saying is unless he has an absolute bottomless warehouse of oldschool bits available, how long will the shop really last?
I guess Tshirts & stickers will be the main outlet after a while, but even then the punters will have all the shirts/stickers they need.
Unless some dead relative GAVE me the shop (i OWN it, no mortgage, no lease etc) i wouldnt expect this investment to go in a positive direction.
Hats off to him for trying, but it's kinda 25years too late huh?
