Interesting concept, but just how will an oldschool shop last, Once your bikes/parts are sold out? then what?

This idea has been toyed with over the past decade with several 'larger' collectors, and it would work if you simply ran a bikeshop with an oldschool section....afterall, you gotta change flat tyres and service regular bikes to get enough income to keep the shop running.

I'm concerned that inflated prices to cover the shop lease will kill the shop before we know it.

just my 2cents :dirol_mini:

Sorry if my comment came across wrong, but good luck running the shop.

Reality Check:
All i'm saying is unless he has an absolute bottomless warehouse of oldschool bits available, how long will the shop really last?
I guess Tshirts & stickers will be the main outlet after a while, but even then the punters will have all the shirts/stickers they need.

Unless some dead relative GAVE me the shop (i OWN it, no mortgage, no lease etc) i wouldnt expect this investment to go in a positive direction.

Hats off to him for trying, but it's kinda 25years too late huh?
