  2. Hi All, New to the forum, thought I'd say hi. Redline Proline racer and Mongoose flatlander back in the day, but havent owned a bike since losing my last one to a thief in about 1985. Thinking I might like to get into a build soon, but for now I am looking for some help. I am looking for a unique gift, for a pretty unique family member. Would be interested in anything Hutch "trickstar", particulalrly number plates, grips etc. Would like to get something uniquely Australian (NOS) if possible?? Old magazine issues, industry brochure etc. would do also. Appreciate the help.

  6. So long story short, I was telling my daughter about the Redline I had BITD and had the brilliant idea to rebuild it before I realized how expensive BMX old-school has become. Been working on this project with my daughter for the last 2-3 months finding all of the same parts or close to equal replacements and it's coming together finally. Still trying to decide if I want to go w/the pads or the front plate. Overall, I'm very happy with the build. This is also nearly exactly the bike that I had when I was a teen. The exceptions, I had the Redline Flight 400's, the black Z wheels with pink tires, Dia-Compe 901's (rear) and 880's (front), and the Forklifter Racing bars. Some additions are the stickers, the pads, the front plate. The ACS Z pink Woody Itson's just went to a local fellow BMXer for a complete restore. Should have them back by Friday and looking forward to it.
