  1. Hi all, I recently acquired a Chrome frame which I think is a Redline. I've been told it's a 1981. It has an odyssey sticker on the head tube, but it looks like a Redline frame except for the drop outs. Does any one have any more information about this bike? Is it worth restoring? What's it worth as is? Thanks.

  3. Hi there, fairly new to this game, but feeling kind of addicted already. Reliving the glory days etc. Put a few pics of this bike up on my Newbie thread, and caused a bit of discussion, so thought I might come to the pros... Any ideas - seems to be rebadged as an RL180, got plenty of odd bits on it. Head badge seems to be OG. Not really sure about anything else. Bloke I bought it off said he bought it 10 years ago of a mate who said he'd had it for 20 years. I didn't really believe him, and got it for a bargain. No serial numbers that I can find. Any thoughts? Cheers, Brett couple more pics Photo of the head badge is a bit wonky - colour has shifted, but is all good in reality.
  4. I had to get the Redlines down off the wall to swap around some bars and seats and grips etc as I got some more Redline and STR stamped bars and another lightning bolt seat... So I thought I'd get some 'family photos' whilst they were down.. Just some quick shots from the iPad (as I was losing the sunlight fast), but came out ok I think... Cheers Scotty
  5. I found these on gumtree, straight from the OG owner in WA. One is an early 81 USA made frame with microline forks. The other is a Aussie made MXII from 1982 no serial with trx forks. Both came with some nice race parts, bullseye BBs, brute stem, dura ace cranks. Uni seats and Ambrosia rims on sealed sunshine gen 2 hubs. Etc etc I have only stripped and cleaned these so far. Will keep the Aussie survivor and the USA will become and mxIII replica build Bad pics as usual but you get the 80s feel that way. Check them out!!!
