  3. Morning Oz, Up for sale today is my 2014 SE Bikes PK Ripper 26. Unfortunately due to a recent purchase, this one has to go. The bike is 100% original (except the rear brake pads) and overall is in excellent condition. A light alloy frame which rides just like a 26 cruiser should. For the time I have owned and ridden, the original seat, pad set and reproduction Oakley B1B grips were put in storage, so all are almost as new. There's still plenty of like left on the original tyres too. If you want the full spec, it's still available on the SE Bikes website HERE > This bike has been a rider so couple of very minor things to note. The seat has a small mark on the top, probably clean off with soapy water, there are one or 2 very small scratches and scuffs on the frame I tried to capture the main one under the top tube near the seat tube and there is a little brake rub starting to appear on the blue anodised rim walls. Other than that it's a beautiful bike to ride. Price is $515 includes PP fees. Local pick-up from Willoughby 2068 NSW (weekends). Cash on pick-up is great and you'll get a $15 discount. For interstate buyers, I am happy to securely pack the bike into a bike box and organise depot to door or depot to depot shipping via ego - charged at cost. I recommend using e-go couriers, they have the most competitive pricing I can find anywhere, and I have shipped many bikes around Australia with them (as most of you probably have also). E-go offer discounted courier rates to suit all businesses. You can get a freight quote for delivery by e-go HERE > The dimensions of a regular bike box are: 130cm x 70cm x 25cm and weight is 16KG. I am happy to arrange the freight for you. PM me for a freight quote, make sure you include your SUBURB/TOWN and POSTCODE. Example freight quotes including insurance From Willoughby 2068 to Brisbane Metro - $60.00 From Willoughby 2068 to Melbourne Metro - $57.00 From Willoughby 2068 to Adelaide Metro - $70.00 Otherwise you can use your own courier company - you'll need to book and pay that for yourself. Dibs rules etc. This bike will also be put up on eBay tonight unless sold here prior. Start price will be higher to include ebay fees - so you will pay more there. If a bid goes on it will be removed from OZBMX. Thanks Brenton

  9. Well, I have finally had a chance to get on and say G'day I joined this forum to meet like minded people and learn as much as possible to help with my father and son project- Restoring Old School BMX's... I live in the Redlands Council in Brisbane, and have not ridden a bmx since I was in Uni, 24 years ago... With 3 boys growing up behind a bmx track , it was only a matter of time before I would start a project with them and start restoring bmx's... I have got a few bikes on the go, with 2 potential old school bikes I would ride myself... I am still looking for quality bikes to do up, so if you have something that is pre 1990 (preferrrably pre 1980) that you have not time to do up, then please let me know... Cash paid, no matter what condition the bike is... I rode a green Madison in the day and would love another... I was never able to afford a Redline, Mongoose, Diamond Back, Hutch, PK Ripper, Moosegoose or Kuwahara so I would love to get my hands on some of those. Glockster and Ant have already helped me with a mongoose Expert & Unkown Twin Tube Freestyler... So thanks guys, you are both great people... Love to meet up on the next months Ride in Brisbane or Gold Coast. My boys are keen to come along too and show off their new rides when they are built. Cheers all, John
  10. It's been a while since I've been excited about a build but this one has me losing sleep. This frame set sat in my garage for about 8 months trying to workout what I was gonna do with it . Bought the frame off Darripper stripped it and left it till PK Ripper day was announced then away it went to MADMAN Pete who sprayed this in candy blue and has done an incredible job that has just floored me. Forks have been customised with stampings removed and holes on dropouts welded up. Cranks are profile repros, rims were stripped and polished and laced to new bullseye hubs. Seat has been restored as has the pro neck , tange seat clamp and brake caliper Headset is a tange 125 lookalike that has been customised. Bars are GT and grips are AME. This bike was inspired by NoelG,s award winning GJS which is my favorite. Hope you like and a big thanks to all that contributed.
  11. In the 80's I use to love laying on the lounge watching bathurst 1000. In 84 Peter Brock had this Amazing HDT VK Commodore, This would have to be one of the coolest cars Brock raced back then. So I decided to build a PK Ripper in memery of the late Peter Brock, one of OZ's most famous race car drivers and car amazing car, the VK. Hope you like it as much as I enjoyed building it. I will get some better pics in the sun soon, but serious, this is so bright you can see it in space..... Cheers thanks guys......
