  5. Hi everyone, I've had an old tech 77 floating around for a while now, which has had a stripped clamp thread. I got a little carried away with some parts I had earmarked for a build but needed a lever. So I decided to see what I could do with the old lever. Of coarse, I could have helicoiled the lever but I've had issues in the past with removing and refitting parts that have been helicoiled. So I decided to go a different route. I had some blind stainless steel dyna bolts that happened to be m6 thread. The same As the original clamp bolt. So I removed the "nut" from the dyna bolt, drilled the top of the lever to suit the nut and inserted it in its new home. I know it's nothing special but I thought I'd share. It's a repair that could be use on most levers Hope it helps someone. Stewart.
