  1. Went to remove an original never-removed-before Addicks Seat Post Clamp and quickly realised I don't have the right size allen key. I assume bolts are original. Seems to need a key around 4.5mm size but of course it would be imperial. Does anyone know what size allen key I need? Thanks

  4. I've been thinking a bit about seat clamps recently. My bicycle came with a quick release unit which, initially I thought was great as adjustment is so much easier as I learn about the bike and my riding. This morning, I went to lock up my bike and it dawned on me that the QR puts my seat/stem at risk. I spent the next 5 minutes (long time when you have to get to a meeting) feeding the lock through the seat rails so I the bike, the front wheel and seat are all locked to the rack. I think a bolted seat clamp would be a good investment as in the long run, once the seat height is set, it's set. Right? Your thoughts?
