  1. Supermax for sale - never been built (I've just had it hanging in my garage). I've decided to let someone else enjoy this awesome piece of Australian BMX history. This listing includes all of the following: Frame (5 hole) - newly powdercoated by Roberto's + note the original head badge Tange Forks (also powdercoated by Roberto's) - note small mark on top of fork Custom made Supermax padset, Gold Chainguard (done by Benny). I'm selling this at a loss - but need more space so it needs to go. Price is $375 shipped anywhere in Australia (or $350 if you live in Sydney and want to collect it from me). No lowball offers, that's a very fair price. Cheers
  2. Hi guys. Im new here and this is my first build in years. I have always had a love for bmx and the time spent hangin at the local track with my mates were great days. I never raced competition but rode those pushies everywhere.I had some cool bikes bitd that I wish I kept but gave away once I got my first car. Anyway heres my supermax crmo hope you enjoy the pics. It has no serial on the bottom bracket. It is located on the right rear dropout 004475. I was told it was given to Malvern star team rider in qld in 82. I have built this from frame up and I am very happy with it. It had its first ride sunday past at the st Kilda swapmeet/ride and it is smooth as.

  5. Hi guys I have been lucky enough to get my hands on this, has been in a mates dads shed for over 25 years. Not sure how far to go with it, any ideas? Has Araya 20 x 1 3/8 rims, sealed bearing hubs, ultradyno 3 pace cranks, suntour pedals etc etc. This is exactly how I got it, have not even dusted it off. Apparently won oz titles in the early 80's then was purchased by by previous owner who raced it.
  6. Hi Everyone, Had this Speedwell Sting MKII frame and Tange TX-1200 Champion fork for many years, and now they've got to go. I bought these new as a complete bike and are unridden, though they have a few storage marks on them, also they have the original washer marks on the dropouts. The headset is a Tange MX 2, with the gold spacer/lock washer. Included are the original dropout washers also. Frame serial number 125539. Forgive me for the crummy photos. Not sure, but I think these frames were also used on the Supermax, so you could get a star and some stickers and Nicole will be jealous! I am after $260 for the lot, can post at buyers expense. I would prefer cash on pickup, but will take Paypal for an extra $10. I am located in western Sydney. Dibs + pm. Thanks Calvin.
  7. Hi, I just picked up this Supermax. I have a blue 22.2 fluted seat post for it but looking at the seat tube it's been over tightened to hold the post. Reading others posts suggests it should have a shim, is it a 13/16" to 7/8" ? Thanks in advance.
  8. Seen as there has been a lot of banging on about OG and Survivor stuff lately, I thought I'd pull the old Supermax down off the wall and give it a clean and get some fresh pics (only from the iPad again)... My first ever BMX and first race bike was a Supermax, and I managed to keep it until I was about 19ish when I lent it to a friends little brother to get to school on and unfortunately it got stolen from the school (little fckers)... So when I got back into the BMX thing again I went on the hunt for one.. I managed to pick up a totally OG one a couple of years back now, that some spoilt kid got and basically only rode it around the block and didn't want it so it got chucked under the house and that's where it stayed in all its glory until I manged to get it... I didn't actually get it from the original owner though, picked it up from the bloke who did.. This thing is totally OG right down to the chain, bell, tyres and tubes.. The rear tyre is no longer rideable but does hold air, and the OG steel stem tubes aren't in the tyres atm.. And all I did was use some elbow grease on this thing and cleaned it all up, nothing has been redone... The tuffs were an absolute nightmare!! Anyways here a pic of ,I've and my brother's when we were kids: And here's how this one looked when I got it: And this is how she is now:
  9. Bmx Bandits Movie Picture Book I think this contains images not in the movie or from different angles. Name the bikes in the photos? I thought David O'Neil (fat kid) was riding the Infamous Supermax Turbo? Also Nicole's bars look like win pro's
  10. Hi Guys and Gals. I have picked up this classic from a guy at work. He has had it since new, was silver with red candy forks when new. I think I'll be taking it back to its former colour ways. Still has most of its OG parts. Enjoy.
