  2. Hi guys. Im new here and this is my first build in years. I have always had a love for bmx and the time spent hangin at the local track with my mates were great days. I never raced competition but rode those pushies everywhere.I had some cool bikes bitd that I wish I kept but gave away once I got my first car. Anyway heres my supermax crmo hope you enjoy the pics. It has no serial on the bottom bracket. It is located on the right rear dropout 004475. I was told it was given to Malvern star team rider in qld in 82. I have built this from frame up and I am very happy with it. It had its first ride sunday past at the st Kilda swapmeet/ride and it is smooth as.
  3. Well don't ask me how??? but I was thinning the heard. I actually sold a quicksilver thruster frame and was sending it out the next day. Something popped up on FB and bang. Copped a phone call and it was on. Fighting off jims mowing all night to secure a deal and with the help of 3 mates on here and one off a skate site it was in my hands in 24hrs. Even got the first class Post service with a smile. Anyways I've scored a Team Quicksilver frame. It's November 1980 #93 Mark Bradley. Thruster drops, round brake bridge and matchbox. The chromes dead and there's the usual scars from BMX life, was spray bombed British racing green but I think I'll drop that theme. I plan to bring it back. No time line on this one but super stoked to have it in my hands. Cheers

  7. G'day OZBMX members! My name is Mike. I usually go by robinson79 on the museum forum but here my user name is Robinson1979. I recently reached out to OZBMX member named Primal to obtain an xxl stem he was selling on this forum. I found it through google and was really pleased to learn that our shared interest in this hobby or "obsession" is global. I appreciate the opportunity to participate in the forum. I wanted to let you all know, that if you are ever having trouble obtaining something in the United States, that I can work with you to assist in obtaining it and expediting the shipping with reasonable accommodations. I ship world wide. I'm a fan of making connections and forming good working relationships with others so if you do need help on this front, please reach out to me and say hi. Email is best it goes right to my smartphone. Here are my bikes from the Austin TX show yesterday and here is my museum member page: http://bmxmuseum.com/user/78131

  11. I'm new to the forum, and hope the experts here can help me out. I've decided to fix up a couple of '83 Silver Streaks for my young boys. I've bought a couple of Silver Streak frames recently, and I think this may be a team version. I know the old stickers turn yellow/gold with age, but these stickers are different. They are gold, but don't have the typical holographic, reflective pyramids within the sticker. They're more of a solid gold; however, the downtube sticker does have some faint holographic, reflective pyramids at the bottom of the sticker. I don't know if they pyramids fade with age or with sunlight, but my others two frames' stickers that are also 25 years old still have really distinctive pyramids. What do you think? The SN is: 3A00066(baseball).
